-- CAMPING --

For many, camping under the stars is what makes the festival experience exciting and unique! If sleeping in a bed is more your thing, check out the cabins on-site or nearby hotels.

If you choose to camp on-site at the breath-taking Mountain Creek River Resort, you will be able to hear the music from your tent, have ample opportunities to meet new folks, be close to vendors and activities, and enjoy the clear, cool blue Niangua River. Amenities include a modern showerhouse, general store, and picnic tables (first come, first serve). Car camping is available in several locations. Busses, RVs and trailers that don't need hookups should purchase an RV pass for an additional $10. Electric sites in the main event can be reserved by calling 1-888-603-6749. If you need full hookups, see our hotel page (link to hotels). For more information about the venue, go to www.mountaincreekcanoes.com.

Quiet Family Camp: A family camping area with close access to your car is located far enough away that you won't hear the music all night long! Biodiesel shuttle busses will make it easy to get back to your camp 24 hours a day. Please respect the 10:00 quiet time if you camp here.

Wherever you camp, please respect the following guidelines:

- No personal fires. For cooking, please use gas stoves at your campsite or community fires.
- No pets allowed on any festival grounds. (except service animals)
- No alcohol brought in. You must be 21+ with a valid ID to purchase or consume alcohol.
- Absolutely NO GLASS allowed. Too many bare feet!
- NO illegal drugs or nitrous tanks allowed. Violators will be ejected from the festival and subject to prosecution under local, state and federal laws.
- No littering. Please help our waste management crew by recycling and composting. We're trying to send as little waste to the landfills as possible! You can also help by bringing food and drinks with less packaging, refilling water bottles, purchasing food from our vendors, and not passing out flyers.
- No amplified music or stereos. Acoustic music is welcomed at your campsite and at the late night drum circle!
- NO firearms or fireworks>
- NO weapons of any kind. Only small camping knives will be allowed.
- Park only in designated parking areas or your vehicle will have to be towed! Daytrippers must park in the day pass lot and must leave by 8:00.
- No unauthorized vending. Please apply for a vendors' permit if you wish to vend.
- Do not cut or damage trees or gardens.

Respect the earth. Respect the river. Respect your neighbors please!

Event security will be stationed throughout the festival grounds including in parking areas. A medical building is located in the middle of the resort near the showerhouse and general store. If you have any kind of emergency, let the nearest staff member know and they would be happy to assist you.

Green Mountain Green Camp Contest
Everybody coming to the festival can work together to help the festival be gentle on the earth! You can help out by using recycling and reusing barrels, composting food scraps and disposable containers, bringing a reusable water bottle, bringing earth-friendly soap, bringing snacks that use less packaging, carpooling and purchasing carbon credits to offset the rest!

To reward those who participate the most, we will have the Green Mountain Green Camp Contest. Figure out a creative way to set up camp that is earth-friendly and comfortable, and you may be able to win one of several prizes. Prizes include merchandise, earth-friendly products and tickets to future events!

Entrants will be required to document their eco-conscious ways in writing. The contest starts when you leave your house, so be sure to come up with a creative way to get to the show using very little gas, and you may want to purchase carbon credits to offset the rest! Photos (digital or print) help!
